Rihanna’s most recent video “S&M” has already generated dozens of controversies being forbidden just one day after its release. The real motive relies on the fact that the scenes of the footage which are inspired from sadomasochism and fetishism techniques are too shocking for the public’s eyes. MTV broadcaster, which accepted to air Rihanna’s S&M but only over night, intends to re-edit the entire clip to be allowed also during daytime. S&M presents Rihanna dressed in leather and latex, sugestively peels off a banana, simulates the sexual act with a doll and keeps in leash the famous blogger Perez Hilton. Director Melisa Matsoukas said that clip aimed at depicting the “sado-maso” relationship between Rihanna and the media but even if their intention had a meaning still S&M was prohibited. ”S&M” is the thirs single from the “Loud” album – the fifth of the artist.
